Head Drawing
is a real-time
tracking software program designed for people with physical disabilities
and limited motor skills. Head drawing enables users to "paint" onto
a computer screen without the use of hands.
Applications: stroke-therapy rehabilitation
training, whiplash training, computer gaming.
Implementation: A custom built software
tracks facial features in real-time. In this example, the nose is tracked
and serves as a virtual cursor allowing the patient to control movements
as if they were using their hands.
Poetential
Clients: physical-rehabilitation facilities, hospitals.
Additional
Features:
Sound Drawing is an additional program which generates
musical notes according to the user's head position. For example lateral
